Belarusian Ministry of health registered a new drug Gynocaps Forte, vaginal capsules.Capsule composition: Metronidazole 500 mg, Miconazole nitrate 100 mg.
Pharmacological action of medicine Gynocaps is conditioned by complex activity of its ingredients: Metronidazole and Miconazole nitrate. The medicine has antifungal, antiprotozoal and antibacterial activity.
Indications: local treatment of vagina infections caused by Trichomonad and/or Candida, bacterial vaginosis, trichomoniasis, candidal vaginitis, and mixed vaginal infections.1 capsule daily in the evening before sleep during 10 days with intake of Metronidazole.
Intravaginal deep introduction of Gynocaps in vagina.
Trichomoniasis: 1 capsule daily in the evening before sleep during 10 days with intake of Metronidazole.
Bacterial vaginosis or candidal vaginitis: 1 capsule 1-2 times daily during 10 days, if necessary with intake of Metronidazole. If the effect is not sufficient, extend for 10 days.
Bacterial vaginosis: 1 capsule 1-2 times daily during 10 days, if necessary with intake of Metronidazole.
Candidal vulvovaginitis: 1 vaginal capsule is introduced deeply into vagina 1 time daily for 10 days.
Recurrent vaginitis or vaginitis resistant to other treatment: 1 vaginal capsule for night and 1 vaginal capsule in the morning for 14 days.
